A chance to get hook at the annual Biggest Catfish Challenge Derby is 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Saturday at Oasis State Park.

Registration is at 4:30 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m.

The derby is open to all ages and anyone 12 or older must have a valid state fishing license.

Kitchen tip

A bay leaf added to the flour container will keep the flour free from moisture.

Today in history

ATMs went on to revolutionize the banking industry, eliminating the need to visit a bank to conduct basic financial transactions.
